Specialist/Expert - Electric & Automation (m/f/d)

Basic Engineering

Designing of Automation configuration (Ethernet & Field Bus).

Finalizing of the Automation /HMI hardware and software as per the standard / contract specification.

Finalizing of Desk Facia and function specification along with BE group. Checking the MKL and Media schemes with Mechanical / SDE to clarify the control loops.

Preparing the detail I/O list.

Detail Engineering (PLC, Servers, Clients)

Reviewing reference project from SDE.

Software engineering /programming as per project requirement.

Developing new software module for project if required. 

Co-ordinate with internal dept's and customers for fetching project inputs. Software module testing.

Conduct Integration test internally and as well with customer.

Trouble Shooting and Technical Expertise

Resolve technical issues related to automation systems at site;

Propose the modification of input-output modules based on learning's from site realities of ongoing projects.

Commissioning

Start-up, I/O check, and Cold commissioning at site.

During cold trails checking all function needs and safety functions.

Hot commissioning and Plant stabilization.

Co-ordination with commissioning leader and between various groups on site like Mechanical, SDE, Customer, Engineering and team members for faster and smoother commissioning.

Responsible for giving quality software and training to customer.

Partly responsible for getting list of open points completed and obtain commissioning certificate, PG &  FAC from Customer.

3-14 years of experience in the field of Automation (programming, testing and commissioning) with exposure to TCS X-pact, Siemens PLC, ABB, PLC Rolling Mill High Speed multi-processing controller, Drives interface, HMI programming & Testing

Standard of Software for Rolling Mills - Hot (HSM, Plate Mill, CSP's etc.),Cold Mill Area (RCM, CSM, PLTCM etc.) and HMI Projects
