Engineer for Metal Forming Technology Cold Rolling (f/m/d)

You are responsible for the further development of plant and application technology for cold rolling mills (steel and non-ferrous metals). Your tasks also include:

• Design of machines, plants, and processes
• Evaluation of plants and processes based on theoretical investigations and field trials, data acquisition, and analysis
• Execution of development projects, including budget and schedule responsibility
• Conducting studies in the field of rolling mill and forming technology
• Application and potential further development of simulation programs and process models
• Evaluation of processes regarding functionality and cost efficiency (Total Cost of Ownership)
• Support of sales and execution projects, including technological commissioning
• Preparation and implementation of internal and external training sessions

You possess a completed degree (Master's or PhD or equivalent) in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field. Additionally, the following are important to us:

• Excellent knowledge of engineering fundamentals (physics, mathematics, mechanics, design, forming technology, materials science, etc.)
• Knowledge in the area of product development
• Good programming skills (preferably C/C++/C#)
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Open-mindedness, negotiation skills, teamwork capabilities
• Working in international and cross-cultural teams
• Willingness to undertake worldwide business travel
