Lead Buyer
SIE HANDELN
- Select suppliers and negotiate purchasing terms in coordination with the design office;
- Define standard specifications and ensure the administrative processing of files in collaboration with internal teams;
- Process price requests and purchase orders with suppliers;
- Check order confirmations, ensure compliance with delivery deadlines, and handle claims with suppliers;
- Enter and validate RFQs and purchase orders for assigned projects;
- Prospect national and international markets to identify new potential suppliers;
- Participate in group-level meetings regarding strategic purchasing for relevant product categories;
- Provide support to the person in charge of Spare Parts purchasing;
- Be willing to travel up to 20% of working time.
SIE WISSEN
- Hold a degree in a technical field and have experience as a technical buyer in an industrial environment;
- Master purchasing and negotiation techniques;
- Minimum 5 years of experience;
- Solid technical knowledge in mechanics and/or electricity, with an interest in reading mechanical drawings;
- Good command of English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of another language (Spanish, German) is a plus;
- Good knowledge and experience with standard IT tools (especially SAP and MS Office), and ability to learn other software;
- Ability to work in a team and to organize work independently;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Good communication skills and customer orientation;
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.
