Project Engineer - Civil- & Structural Steel (f/m/x)

The Project Engineer (Civil- & Structural Steel) is responsible for the execution and co-ordination of a specific engineering tasks with Worley for the project “Neubau Direktreduktionsanlange zur Stahlerzeugung am Standort Duisburg-Walsum”.  These are the main responsibilites and tasks: 

• Responsible for quality, agreed dates, man-hours and quantities for all deliverables from civil and structural engineering
• Co-ordination of engineering tasks
• Given work is performed in accordance with valid quality documents within the IMS, codes and standards and other knowledge resources
• Stay from 2 to 3 months, continuously or alternately at Worley's offices in India.
• Check & comments on civil drawings CA-STRs.
• Meetings with Technological Manager to ensure completion of CA-STR drawings.
• Releasing CA-STRs to Plant Design clash check.
• Close cooperation with our colleagues in the international Engineering offices (Italia, South Africa and Germany).

You have an academic degree  in engineering or equivalent experience in civil engineering and several years of professional experience. Furthermore, this is important to us:

• Good understanding of product and technical requirements for civil engineering
• Strong appreciation for HSE requirements
• Strong inter-personal and negotiation skills at all levels. Articulate and able to work with a diverse team of colleagues at all levels in different countries
• The drive and motivation to meet the time, cost and quality targets
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Sound experience in the use of MS-Office, CAD and ERP software/tools (e.g. MS Project, Navisworks, iTWO, AutoCAD, SAP 4/HANA)
