B. Tech in electrical stream with 8 to 12 years of experience.

About Position
Design, develop, validate and support electrical hardware for heavy-industrial plants (Forging equipment's).
Responsibilities
- Preparation of parts lists and purchase requisitions for electrical equipment
- Drawing of operating key material plans (local cabinets and motor and components) & drawing of control pult layouts.
- Drawing cable routing diagrams incl. Cable trays 2D
- Support the mechanical to implement the routing diagrams, incl. Cable trays into 3D
- Preparation and collecting of electrical equipment data sheets
- Working with Motor and component list tool to prepare the basic engineering.
- Technical support for the construction of the electrical switchgear (for cabinets build in India)
- Verify BOM & installation at workshop/site.
- Create and review schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, bill of materials (BOM), cable schedules and termination lists.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, procurement packages and acceptance criteria for electrical hardware.
- Support fabrication/assembly by providing panel 3D layouts, mounting, grounding and cable routing guidance.
- Support sales team for estimation related to electrical scope.
- Work in close coordination with German colleagues for global as well as local projects.
- Maintain design records, change controls and as-built documentation.
Technical Skills Set
- Proven experience with switchgear, MCCs, motor starters, LV/HV distribution and industrial control panels.
- Hands-on experience with cable management, gland selection, and panel layout for industrial environments.
- Experience with electrical tools (e.g. Siemens Simasis) and CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (reading) & MS-Visio).
- Experience in the selection of hardware and software for the equipment
- Familiar with PLC hardware integration and industrial communication (Profibus, Ethernet/IP& PROFINET).
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC) and local electrical codes.
