SIE HANDELN
- Preparation of cost estimates for plants and individual machines, both based on CPG software and using Excel
- Determination of estimation parameters based on scope lists (weights, man-hours, etc.)
- Compilation of enquiry documents for forwarding to subcontractors and workshops and coordination with the Supply Chain department
- Review and assessment of technical documents (technical drawings, layouts, specifications, offers, project and installation schedules)
- Coordination and integration with the relevant departments (Sales, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Plausibility and completeness checks of incoming estimation documents from the departments involved
- Analysis and maintenance of cost documentation as a basis for M+F cost estimating
- Price determination with a target-cost perspective based on executed reference plants and the current procurement market situation
- Support and advisory to Sales regarding cost-efficient reference plants and products
- Preparation of alternative estimates as a basis for MoB decisions
- Support during contract negotiations with the customer
SIE WISSEN
- Graduate or Bachelor/Master’s degree or similar
- Relevant professional experience (>3 years)
- Broad knowledge of processes and structure, interfaces, software systems, and products, as well as internal and external stakeholders (e.g., authorities)
- Specialized knowledge of business administration cost items and their breakdowns (materials, fabrication, subcontracted services, logistics, installation, engineering, quality assurance)
- Understanding of plant components, assemblies, and their interfaces (e.g., structural steel, piping, electrical and automation)
- Basic knowledge of relevant fabrication and installation processes (time/cost logic along the manufacturing process)
- Excellent communication skills
- English proficiency level C1
- Willingness to travel
