About Position:
The candidate is a Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years of working experience in Mechanical equipment engineering specifically in iron making plants.
Design & Detail Engineering of General Mechanical Equipment.
Exposure in designing iron making plants will be an added advantage.
Preparation of Specification and Finalization of standard bought-out items

Responsibilities:
Preparation of Offer Drawings based on the input received from the Client and Sales.
Assisting in analyzing design problems and preparing design sketches.
Providing design specifications to deliver complex designs using calculations and vendor data.
Detail drawing and checking out put.
Conversant with various international standards like ASTM, DIN, ISO, CEMA, EN, IS, etc.
Should have knowledge of welding symbol, fabrication drawings, etc.
Preparation of drawing list & schedule of submission, preparation of purchase requisition (PR) list & schedule of release.
Technical evaluation of offers and recommendation, supervising / checking of drawings, supervising/ checking of design documents, interaction with external design agencies for finalization / placement of order, and finalization of layout.
Co-ordination with customer / consultants for approval of drawing, technical co-ordination with other departments, planning of departmental needs & standardization.
Maintenance of records as per company system / ISO, receipt & release of drawings in ERP system.
Technical Skills set:
Knowledge in MS office, AutoCAD, PTC Creo, AVEVA E3D etc.
Behavioral Skills Set:
Possess good oral and written communication skills.
Own a good sense of initiative and responsibility.
Look continuously to improve and optimize his work environment.
Able to work independently and also in a team.
Possess good analytical skill.
Knowledge of foreign language is an added advantage.
Proficient in activities involving Vendor Management, Technical clarification, scheduling and procurement of equipment.
