Development Manager for Process Engineering (m/f/d)
YOU ACT
You will be responsible for project management in interdisciplinary development projects; other tasks include:
- Implementation of development projects for the circular economy (recycling, chemical treatment of metals, acid regeneration, Waste2Value), surface treatment and cleaning of steel strip
- Design, further development, and optimization of process and plant technology
- Evaluating processes with regard to function and cost effectiveness (total cost of ownership)
- Providing methodological support to the relevant departments and teams
- Support of start-up and sales activities
- Collaborating across disciplines
YOU KNOW
You have a degree in engineering with a major in chemistry or process engineering or equivalent vocational training; other important aspects and skills include:
- Very good knowledge in the field of chemical process technology
- Very good knowledge in the use of simulation tools
- Good programming knowledge
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- An open mindset, negotiating skills, ability to work in a team
- A good command of English
- Working in international teams
- A willingness to travel on business
