Design engineer / Detail design engineer (m/f/d)
YOU ACT
The successful implementation of our modularization strategy is a key element of the competitiveness of our products. By closely collaborating with your colleagues in the individual teams within the Center of Excellence Flat Products, you will be responsible for the design and updating of modules as well as for the relevant products. In detail, your duties comprise:
- Modularization and standardization of products (modules)
- Rating and dimensioning components, and preparing drafts in our CREO 3D CAD program
- Coordinating with the plant engineering team
- Assisting with detail engineering
- Collaborating on new developments
- Compiling quotations and presentations
- Conducting negotiations with suppliers
- Building up, applying, and further developing technical know-how
YOU KNOW
You have a degree in engineering with a major in mechanical engineering or have completed a course of vocational training as a draftsperson with relevant additional upskilling qualifications; you should also have:
- Several years of professional experience and knowledge in the field of plant engineering and construction
- Very good knowledge of CREO
- Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
- Good written and spoken English
- Personal commitment, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team
- A willingness to undertake business travel worldwide
