Technical Manager Long Products (m/w/d)
YOU ACT
You will be responsible for the Coordination of engineering activities within the business unit Long Products related to OEM projects (in-time, in-quality and in-cost execution; in addition, your tasks will include:
- Planning and monitoring of engineering deliverable list (EDL)
- Close collaboration with Order Processing Managers (OPM)
- Complete Project Management of smaller OEM projects (type C + L) according to Project Management Directive (PMD)
- Collaboration with the Project Management Core Team of larger OEM projects (type A + B)
- Acting as technical contact person for quiries from supply chain and site
- Support of sales and service
YOU KNOW
You have successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, or similar background
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills as well as assertiveness
- Hands-on mentality
- Customer orientation as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Experience in project handling of complex customer projects
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- Knowledge of the products of the CoE LP
- Fluent in German and English is mandatory
- Good knowledge of MS Office products
- Experience in SAP R/3 (or SAP S/4 Hana)
- Good knowledge of MS Project
