Jr. Project Engineer - Plant Auxiliaries (Intralogistic Systems) (f/m/x)


YOU ACT

The Jr. Project Engineer (Plant Auxiliaries – Intralogistic Systems) is responsible for the execution and co-ordination of specific engineering tasks for a project with regards to quality, costs and time. This mainly includes:

  • Creation of logistic concepts for entire plants and logistic area layouts
  • Material flow analysis and representation
  • Contribution at developing the technical and commercial strategy for the specific equipment
  • Preparation and Verification of the deliverables, the discipline scope of work and schedule for the projects
  • Planning, calculation and specification of logistic equipment
  • Specification of constructural design values
  • Creation of tender documents and tender evaluations
  • Tender/Contract review with regards to deviations, completeness and risks
  • Responsible for the technical concept, agreed dates, man-hours and quality for Plant Auxiliaries equipment

YOU KNOW

You have a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Furthermore important to us is:

  • Minimum three years of professional experience in an Engineering environment
  • Good understanding of product and technical requirements for metal processing plants
  • Knowledge of different logistic types and equipment as e.g. racks and industrial truck, preferred for metal processing plants
  • Preferred knowledge in the use, managing and self-application of logistic simulation studies
  • Experience with the relevant standards, e.g. VDI 3571; DIN EN 1993 (EC3) are desirable
  • Inter-personal and negotiation skills at all levels. Articulate and able to work with a diverse team of colleagues at all levels in different countries
  • Very good in spoken and written English, German language skills would be appreciated
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Good knowledge in the use of MS Office and AutoCAD, first experience in Navisworks, SAP S4/HANA and preferred logistic simulation tools
