Financial Manager SMS group - Nordic AB (f/m/x)

The financial manager is responsible for the overall coordination of all finance related matters for SMS group - Nordic AB, including its subsidiary NOVA industri AB. The responsibilities are wide-ranging and critical to their financial health and growth. The financial manager reports to the MD of SMS group - Nordic AB .

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

• Development and implementation of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB short term & long-term financial strategy in accordance with the business targets set by SMS group Nordic AB board
• Planning and controlling of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB budget and financial goals
• Assist Board of directors of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB, prepare and organize board meetings. Work closely with senior management and other departments of SMS group to support overall business strategy

Financial Analysis, Reporting Duties and Tax Compliance:

• Monitoring and analyzing the company's financial performance, including the preparation and/or supervision of financial reports, forecasts and budgets required by (i) SMS group and (ii) prescribed by locally applicable regulations and laws
• Ensuring compliance with all accounting and tax obligations and working with internal and external tax advisors and authorities
• Support the integration of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB into ERP solutions and consolidation software prescribed by SMS group
• Set-up on develop internal control systems in line with the size and development of business activities conducted by SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB

Liquidity and Financial Risk Management

• Ensuring the liquidity of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB in alignment with SMS group corporate function in order to enable the performance of ongoing operations and investments
• Handle external and internal payments and support of externalized accounting function in accordance with SMS group policies
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks of SMS group Nordic AB and NOVA industri AB

Leadership and management of the finance team

• Development and growth of a team that has the necessary skills and resources to achieve the company's financial goals
• Support and integrate the local finance team within the SMS group GmbH finance, legal and accounting structure

You have completed training as an accountant or have a financial degree and can demonstrate several years of experience in accounting (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable). Additionally, you have:

• Knowledge of accounting (K3, IFRS)
• Knowledge of electronic communication with authorities
• Basic knowledge of consolidation in a corporate group
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and assertiveness
• Strong commitment, sense of responsibility, and cost awareness
• Very good knowledge of Swedish VAT law, tax law, including cross-border service exchanges
• Very good English language skills; knowledge of Swedish and/or German language skills would be an optional asset
• IT affinity for systems and processes (preferably very good SAP knowledge, e.g., S/4 Hana FI, SD, FI-AA, MM; E-Invoice Readsoft)
