Mechanical Engineer having 4 to 8 years of experience in designing mechanical equipment used in industries like steel and heavy fabrication, etc. Should be able to develop and implement standard engineering practices, keep track of engineering progress in view of the project schedule, ensure the quality of engineering delivered, and attend to queries from vendors and site.

YOU KNOW

Technical Skills Set

  • Design and calculation of steel plant/rolling mill equipment
  • Knowledge and familiarity with manufacturing and machining processes
  • Should be able to read and develop technical drawings and models of machinery, equipment, and components using CAD software based on SMS requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of National & International Standards (EN, ISO, ASME, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Design and related concepts
  • Hands-on experience on AutoCAD and 3D (Creo)
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Fits/Tolerances, Geometric Tolerances, and Dimensioning, welding symbols, etc.
  • Should be able to lead a team of draftsmen and be able to work on multiple assignments
