Candidate Requirements
- Person having B.E./B. Tech - Mechanical or Metallurgy degree with 6 to 10 years of experience in engineering, project coordination activities.
- Process knowledge of Steel Plant in general and Blast Furnace plant in particular Blast furnace, Hot Stoves, Gas Cleaning system, Slag granulation plant, Stock House and PCI will be an advantage.
- Should have done planning and coordination for engineering activities for Blast Furnace plant projects.
- PMP certification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of equipment in Blast furnace plant
- Exposure to working in AutoCAD, Creo, AVEVA.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience of manpower and engineering deliverable planning
- Exposure to erection and commissioning, troubleshooting for Blast Furnace plant equipment’s

Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing day-to-day engineering coordination activities among PM, EM, TSM and designers for products of Blast Furnace plant.
- Responsible for engineering deliverables in terms of efficient cost, time and quality.
- Interaction and participation in meetings with customer in consultation with PM, EM for engineering related issues for assigned products.
- Extend support to different stake holders related to engineering documentation, manufacturing, quality, commercial, sub suppliers, construction and commissioning team in consultation with PM, EM.
- Extend support to PM, EM in project closure in terms of technical document finalization and lessons learnt. Engineering improvement and safety compliance for assigned products.
Required Skills
- Knowledge in MS office, MS Projects, SAP, AVEVA, Creo, AutoCAD etc.
- Participate in commissioning and/ or troubleshooting for assigned products
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and responsibilities.
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and also in a team
