Software Engineering & Simulation (PLC) - Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Pune

Your tasks

Preparation of the functional specifications and concepts.
Software development for SMP (Steel Making Process) & Caster.
Software development for PLC simulation.
Ensure that the software is developed as per SMS Standards.
Integration testing of the S/W with Level 1 & Level 2 automation system.
Software commissioning at different SMS sites.
Customer support of software post-commissioning
Demonstration of contractual performance figures.
Sales support and preparation of technical portion of the contract

Your profile

University Degree or diploma in Electrical or Electronics or instrumentation Engineering.
3 - 10 Years work experience.
Hands on Experience of Step7, WinCC & TIA.
Good working Knowledge of Siemens PLC Platform.
Experience with PCS7 will be preferred.
Working experience with Profinet architecture engineering and commissioning.
Experience in C#, .Net, WPF is added advantage.
Domain knowledge on steel plant equipment viz BOF, EAF, Slab Caster etc. will be an added advantage.
Good Knowledge of computers i.e. word, excel & PowerPoint.
Plant Maintenance profile with no software development experience is not preferred.
