Business Development and Sales Manager (f/m/x)


Your tasks

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities in the battery recycling industry
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy based on market research to drive revenue growth for the company's li-ion battery recycling plants
  • Leading sales presentations, pitches, and negotiations to secure contracts and partnerships and achieve sales targets
  • Identifying, negotiating and establishing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the battery industry, including manufacturers and government agencies
  • Collaborating with potential clients and partners to understand their needs and tailor solutions that align with the company's mission and capabilities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking and cultivating relationships with potential customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with technical, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and the company's capabilities.
  • Representing the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to enhance brand visibility and to build and maintain a positive brand image
  • Monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, and preparing regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and forecasts

Your profile

You have successfully completed an above-average degree. We value:

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and achieving revenue targets, ideally within the industrial or environmental technology sectors
  • Deep understanding of the Industry to grasp the competitive landscape, customer visions and pain points as well as competition to maintain a competitive edge
  • Relevant educational background in business, engineering, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in business development or sales roles within the industrial or environmental sectors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in German and English) to effectively convey technical information, present proposals, and represent the company at various forums  
  • High social competence and resilience, as well as a willingness to travel

Salary level

Depending on qualifications and professional experience.
