Our Global Support Function Corporate Information & Quality Management is looking for a
IT Network and Backend Specialist
Your tasks
- Responsible configuration and support of LAN, WAN, firewall systems and WLAN environments at our European locations;
- Together with application specialists, users and product experts of the manufacturers, you will design custom-fit infrastructure solutions and set them up as part of the team;
- Troubleshooting and elimination of incidents;
- You will take care of the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the solutions you support;
- Second and third level support in the network environment;
- Collaboration and management of projects in the area of network, security and infrastructure.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or similar is a preferential requirement;
- Knowledge of network protocols and network services;
- Experience operating and designing (W)LAN, WAN and firewall solutions in an enterprise environment is desirable;
- Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP and network monitoring;
- Good problem solving and analytical skills;
- Analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills with users, colleagues and suppliers;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English;
- Collaborative and team working approach;
