Design Engineer is responsible for design engineering of equipment of Metallurgy (Environment Technology) and equipment structures as per the technical specifications.

Design Engineer

Your tasks

Studying the Technical specifications and preparing key notes for pre-design phase. To understand the need of designs and prepare deviation list if needed.

Perform basic design calculations of Equipment and Equipment supporting structures.

Preparation of Layout & Basic engineering for equipment and Equipment supporting structures.

Checking of basic and detail designs prepared by designers Selection of bought out components.

Communication and co-ordination within team, team leaders, other departments, customers, suppliers.

Scheduling of activities of engineering for a project.

Your profile

BE/BTech with 8-20 years of experience.

Solid conceptual Knowledge on Strength of material and Structural Analysis

Knowledge of Mechanical Design and related concepts.

Knowledge on ANSYS is preferred

Thorough knowledge of National & International Standards (EN, ISO, ASME, EURO etc.)
