Our Center of Excellence Metallurgy is looking for a

Technical Sales Manager

Your tasks

The Technical Sales Manager is the point of contact and representative for all questions relating to environmental plants related to the steel process, participating in an internal and external sales project.

The Technical Sales Manager will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • coordinates the Proposal team in the preparation of technical and economic offers for environmental installations, ensuring their implementation in compliance with customer requirements and business standards;
  • Elaborates and updates the technical offers, based on the requests of the Customers and with the help of the Company Functions concerned, ensuring their implementation in compliance with company standards (e.g. standards, costs, etc.);
  • Supports the Company Functions involved in the phases of review of the offer and negotiation with the Customer;
  • It has the objective of continuous improvement and/ or innovation of products, in relation to market needs with the support of Technical Offices and Cost Office.

Your profile

  • Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar;
  • At least 3/4 years of experience in Technical Sales for complex plant manufacturer companies;
  • Experience in analyzing complex Request from Customer and preparing relevant Technical Offers;
  • Commercial skills to identify competitive solution, manufacturing strategies etc.;
  • Good knowledge of the steelmaking process and Reading and review of technical drawings and sales/technical specifications;
  • Availability to undertake travel worldwide when required by his role;
  • Fluent in English is essential (German knowledge represent a plus);
  • Good knowledge of Office package (including Project) and basic knowledge of SAP and CRM are essential.
