The Design Engineer for Pune Location. Person will be responsible for preparing Layouts in 2-D, 3D models in CREO, INVENTOR and in AutoCAD for equipment used in continuous casting plant.

Your tasks

Roles & Responsibilities

Study of reference drawings and are familiarized quickly with the equipment and layout.
Preparation & self-checking of Basic and detail drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Supervisor/Engineer.
Develop sub assembly & assembly drawing based on based on basic engineering drawings and related data or as per the inputs from supervisor.
Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM)
Check and modify the drawings.
Preparation and self-checking of Onboard equipment piping

Your profile

Competencies Required

BE/B. tech with 8-20 years of experience.
Working experience on Layout & equipment engineering for Billet /Bloom Caster.
A thorough hands-on experience on preparing 3D models in CREO, INVENTOR and AutoCAD is must.
Should be conversant with various National & International Standards.
Knowledge and familiarity with layout drawing including civil
foundation, building structure, Cranes, scale pit, hydraulic trench and utility routing.
Knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes.
Able to communicate/report technical issues eﬀectively with the reporting engineer/manager.
