Lead Design Engineer Strip Lines (f/m/d) (Kopie)

As Lead Design Engineer you will assume responsibility for the design and module ownership of a major module in the area of strip lines (module owner). Your tasks include:

• Supervision and coordination of workshop, suppliers, design offices, construction site and customers
• Development of concepts/guidelines for commissioning
• Further development of the machines within your area of responsibility
• Supervision of the preparation of the detailed design
• Basic design/sizing and coordination; special designs where required
• Taking on project management of individual machine projects

You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, the following are important:

• Extensive professional experience in design, ideally with initial experience in strip lines
• Solid knowledge of the software and tools used
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a high level of commitment
• Good German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide for business
