As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the trusted partner to our customers, supporting the full lifecycle of their plants.
Technical Support Engineer – Iron Ore Pelletizing & Sintering
SIE HANDELN
- Provide technical advice to customers on service products, especially spare parts and repairs.
- Support MAs during sales phases and negotiations at client sites.
- Clarify technical aspects of customer inquiries, including price determination for repairs or spare parts.
- Prepare and process technical offers and specifications according to customer requirements.
- Conduct technical service activities at customer sites.
- Perform inspections and provide recommendations.
- Participate in shutdowns and ensure technical support during critical phases.
- Customer problem-solving and training.
- Provide operation and maintenance instructions.
- Inspection contract visits.
- Local installation and start-up assistance (if applicable).
- Review and create technical specifications for inquiries and orders.
- Assist procurement with technical questions related to spare parts in the workshop.
- Contribute to defining and implementing on-site service concepts.
SIE WISSEN
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical service or related fields.
- Strong technical knowledge of spare parts, repairs, and service processes.
- Familiarity with SAP and internal workflows; ability to coordinate across departments.
- Medium complexity tasks require technical expertise and customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently with partial optimization scope; objectives are mostly predefined.
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach; willingness to travel and be present during shutdowns and inspections.
- No formal leadership responsibilities.
