Process Engineer/Metallurgist Electric Arc Furnaces (m/f/d)
YOU ACT
You are responsible for development, process engineering design and for commissioning of steelmaking units (Electric Arc Furnaces). In addition, your tasks include:
- Development of new processes for steel production with a low CO2 footprint
- Development of process guarantees
- Customer consulting, studies, training
- Clarifying procedural questions with the customer
- Maintenance of process design models
- Technical consulting and support for design and sales departments
- Commissioning of the equipment worldwide
- Industry 4.0 in steel production
YOU KNOW
You have a university degree specialising in metallurgy. In addition, the following are important to us:
- Professional experience in EAF steel production or EAF commissioning experience
- Experience with metallurgical models
- Open, confident appearance
- Cooperation and teamwork
- very good English and good German language skills
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to spend several months abroad for commissioning activities
