Maintenance Planner (m/f/d)
YOU ACT
We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for three talented planners to join SMS group during a pivotal and dynamic establishment phase in Boden, northen part of Sweden. It is a challenging and exciting role in a dynamic and multicultural environment. As a planner, you will be at the forefront of shaping our operations, taking ownership of key planning processes in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. This is a dynamic position where your organizational and problem-solving skills will directly contribute to the success of our operations in Boden. The role will develop in conjunction with our organization, with an initial focus on building up the operation and local working methods.
As a planner, you will be responsible for detail-planning of the works in one of our three workshops: mould and segment, cold rolling, or hot rolling. The workshops' mission is to do refurbishment and repair the process technology used in steel production for our customer.
In addition, you will be expected to:
- You will be part of a planning team consisting of a manager and a total of three planners.
- Take responsibility for task, resource and material planning
- You ensure that the operations can run efficiently by making sure that resources and spare parts are always available
- You will work closely with your departement colleagues and manager, as well with workshop managers, the customer, subcontractors and the maintenance staff in the workshops
YOU KNOW
You have a recognized degree in engineering/industrial technology/mechanical engineering/logistics, combined with at least two years of work experience in a similar environment. You possess strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritize.
Additionally, important to us:
- You work systematically and independently while also demonstrating strong teamwork abilities
- You have a good command of English, both spoken and written, as well as solid computer/IT skills.
- Also you should have practical experience with planning systems (e.g. SAP, Maximo, Oracle) and a practical understanding of RCA (root cause analysis) an KPI (key perfomance indicators and CIP (continuous improvement process)
