Group Leader - MEEE1 (Primary GCP)

Purpose:
The Group Leader- MEEE1 (Primary GCP) will Lead, manage, execute and deliver engineering activities and deliverables related to Primary Gas Cleaning Systems for metallurgical plants (e.g., BOF shop, Blast Furnace or similar units), ensuring technical excellence, adherence to SMS group standards, cost-effectiveness and timely project delivery while leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and draftsmen.

- Team Leadership & Resource Management Project Execution & Coordination
- Technical Document preparation for Bought out items and review of Vendor’s document both at Pre and Post order stage

- Active participation in cost optimization exercise
- Regular interaction with Internal and External customer

Competencies Required:
Technical
- Basic Knowledge in the Process of Primary GCP
- Working experience on GCP equipment engineering like Water cooled parts, Evaporation cooler, ESP, Gas cooler, Flare stack etc. and Ducting for BOF/BF Gas Cleaning
- Experience in EPC / Metallurgical plant engineering companies (preferably SMS group environment)
- A thorough hands-on experience on preparing/handling 3D models in CREO/Inventor/Aveva and AutoCAD is preferred
- Should be conversant with various relevant National & International Standards like DIN, ISO, IS, environmental norms
- Knowledge and familiarity with welding and machining symbols, Fits/Tolerances, Geometric Tolerances etc.
