General Manager Design & Product Management Cold Rolling Mills (f/m/d)

As the head of the Design and Project Management division within the Cold Rolling Mills, you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the division, as well as the functional leadership of the assigned international employees, in accordance with the division’s and company’s strategies. Your responsibilities will include, in particular:

• Actively driving and implementing division and corporate strategy
• Strategic and continuous personnel and division development, and fostering a work culture aligned with the division’s strategy and corporate values
• Integrated product management for the global product portfolio, including the implementation of modularization and standardization
• Supporting the sales team in planning, customer meetings, and negotiations with international customers
• Conducting customer meetings and negotiations both domestically and abroad, as well as analyzing markets, technologies, and competitors
• Supporting the service division in the further development and expansion of the service business

You hold a degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering) or have comparable training with relevant professional experience. In addition, you possess the following qualifications:

• Several years of leadership experience and strong leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a role model for cooperative behavior
• Several years of experience in design and technical project management for metallurgical plant equipment, preferably cold rolling mills
• Experience with change management: You identify opportunities for optimization early on and implement improvements in a targeted and sustainable manner
• Entrepreneurial mindset and approach, along with a strong understanding of efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness in line with corporate and divisional strategy
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness combined with a high degree of reliability and resilience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, as well as business-level fluency in spoken and written English
• Willingness to travel for international business trips and to work abroad
